TEAM JUDGE CODE OF CONDUCT (Rev. 11/04)

1. Members are expected to treat their fellow gamers in a kind and sportsmanlike way at all times, whether playing in a server or using any other form of communication.

2. Slandering, taunting, profanity, and abusive or disruptive comments are prohibited in our game servers. Members are expected to avoid retaliation in kind when confronted with abuse or profanity, and are directed to inform a Server or Forum Administrator of the problem.

3. Disrespect of fellow members, in private or public, will not be tolerated. Disputes should be dealt with privately whenever possible, and must be presented and discussed in a mature and rational manner. Conflicts will happen, however mean-spirited exchanges will not be tolerated. In accordance with the team's Privacy Policy, Private communications between members may NOT be publicly disclosed without the consent of both parties. This includes all access-protected forum posts, which may not be redistributed.

4. Any member may bring concerns to the Staff with the knowledge that no Staff Member shall refuse their request to keep a discussion or source of information confidential. No member will be penalized for raising a sincere concern in an appropriate manner.

5. Discrimination or harassment based on race, religion, nationality, sexuality, gender or gaming skill will not be tolerated in our servers, forums, or private communications between members.

6. A discovery of cheating by a member in any online game, even if it occurred before they joined [Judge], will result in automatic expulsion from the team.

7. Deliberate team killing is never allowed. To add an element of difficulty, we normally play with Friendly Fire Damage on inmost games.

8. Members are encouraged to offer their ideas. While actual orders or summary decisions are fairly rare, they are occasionally needed. When you sign up for Team [Judge], you accept a chain of command. The only appropriate response to an order is to follow it. Members may freely bring up any further discussion of the matter privately after the fact.

9. Scripts that alter game play in any manner, such as reduced recoil or crouch/lean and "dance" binds are not permitted and will be considered cheating.

10. Members may display their tags in any online environment, including games in which we do not officially participate, however they may not misrepresent their role or authority within the team to any person. Our code of conduct is enforced vigorously. Disciplinary tools available to various levels of the Command staff include, but are not limited to: Probation, Removal or Suspension from the Team, Demotion, and Reprimands. Such actions may be appealed to the Chief Justice, whose decision is final.

Thank-you for reading and abiding by this Code of Conduct, and welcome to the Team [Judge] family!

Chief Justice Dredd,
Founder and Leader
Team [Judge]
